Wildland Fire Preparedness Town Hall Meeting

San Mateo Consolidated Fire Department (SMC) is hosting a Wildland Fire Preparedness Town Hall Meeting on May 28, 2020, at 6:00 pm. Speakers will include Fire Chief Ray Iverson, Fire Marshal Robert Marshall, and other members of the SMC Fire Team. Some of the topics that will be covered are the changes to the state law that are affecting buildings in wildland areas, what the risk is, and how to prepare, followed by a question and answer period.
Consistent with the Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20 promoting social distancing, there will be no physical or in-person meeting location available to the public. Instead, the meeting will be accessible via video teleconference on Zoom.
